View Full Version : Do you call proper preflop raises with Axs?

Hello,
do you call proper, 4-5BB, raises with Axs when you suspect someone else is calling? What implied odds are needed to make the call? We only have flush and sometimes 2pair value. Its also much harder to extract chips from players with a flush I think, than say with s straight.

Really situational but I do sometimes and less so than Scs -what you say about the flush is true -don't forget Ax has top trips value.

I think <5% stack 3way in position(CO or BTN) vs donks are decent factors to allow me to enter a pot but I often muck thse HU.

I call using the new 3-8 rule. I usually want it to be under 3% to call, but sometimes I call getting some 4-5%.
