This happens a lot lately...

I think poeple are finally understand what raising on the button means....

how the hell do you counter that?

short answer... yes, fold.

boring answer...if your raises are not getting respect, tighten up.

fold, adjust accordingly. maybe 4-bet more, tighten your range, etc etc.

100% true

I'll add a few general thoughts..Careful not to come to a quick conclusion that you are being "outplayed" you usually are not..Villain just got lucky an caught a couple of hands..There are very few at this level that will adjust correctly to your aggression...Pay close attention to villains play and make the adjustment Orange pointed out..

That being said post UIGEA I have noticed an increase in the PF 3 betting..Which makes sense since many weaker player stopped playing and the stronger US player have fewer site options left..Thank X Presidential Candidate Frist..This also correlates with an increase popularity of a "Lag" stlye..I find 3 betting light is a very effective defense against a "solid Lag"..

OOOOPS you are on Party so alot of my comments do not apply...OOO how I wish we Americans still had Party and PokerRoom /images/graemlins/frown.gif
