Preflop: Hero is MP2 with K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, K/images/graemlins/club.gif. MP1 posts a blind of $0.25.

<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, MP1 (poster) checks, <font color="green">Hero raises to $1.25</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises to $2.25</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP1 folds, <font color="green">Hero raises to $6</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises to $9.75</font>, <font color="green"> calls $3.75</font>.

Okay, so that's what I did. Here's my thought process:

<font color="green">Hero raises to $1.25 - </font><font color="blue">4x+1bb per limper is standard. MP1 is posting, so I consider that a limp.</font>

<font color="green">Hero raises to $6 - </font><font color="blue">No read on SB, his weak raise could mean anything, though it seems he's not afraid to get called. "You wanna go fool? We'll go!"</font>

<font color="green">Hero calls $3.75 - </font><font color="blue">Huh?! Alright, this guy really doesn't want to scare me away. He's got QQ-AA, maybe AKs. I actually think he has AA here the majority of the time. So, I'm probably behind, this could be the first time I've laid down KK pre-flop since coming over to cash games...wait though, now I'm getting implied odds to call and play KK for set value.</font>

OMG! Did I just say I would play KK for set value at a 25NL table? Absurd!

Do you give him credit for AA and fold then?

I'd make your 4bet a lot bigger. This isn't even 3 times his bet. You're giving him great odds to call when he's doing this with worse hands.

I push here. If he has AA, so be it.

nah i don't fold.

play 6m for a lot of reasons:

1) if you're the best player at the table, you'll be able to control the pace much better
2) more thin valuebetting/thin call spots
3) easier to isolate donks
4) good position more frequently.
5) i could go on and this topic has beeen examined to death
