Easy call? What if effective stacks were doubled?

Very strange line by villain...any reads on him?

Looks a lot like a set of 5's or 9's or A9 and now he wants to protect against 2 flush draws. AK/AQ/bluff maybe. If your read is he's not crazy, hero probably should fold...but I probably call when playing cuz hero's hand looks deceptively good.

This doesn't look like a worse TP. You don't have the odds to draw at your flush and your TP is probably beat. I fold here.

im gonna say i fold for forums sake. but if im actually in the hand, I think i have a really hard time laying down such a purdy hand.

stacks doubled and he shoves, easy fold.

If he had a set on the flop why he did protect against flush/straight draw.

I'd raise more preflop and quite often just call the flop. As played, easy call. I play 6-max though, so take it fwiw.

guess your not getting the odds to call assuming you only have hearts as outs, add in kings as outs it makes it close to a call but not there yet I think. As played I might just call flop but nothing wrong with raising like you did.

flop play is good

turn is a pretty easy call no? especially given stack sizes

a set raises the flop in a three way pot on a drawy board
looks like combo draw or turned two pair

I'd call, but that's because I think neither calling or folding is a big mistake, and in that case I always choose to gamboooooool.

I'd call.

I'd call, but then I'd be playing 6max where small stacks often make desperate pushes with top pair or even second pair.

Stacks doubled changes the hand so drastically that it's almost irrelevant to discuss it but no, you can't call a 3x pot sized push with TPTK + NFD..

6 max and this is the easiest call ever, full ring and it's slightly more difficult. I would still probably call because I have a lot of outs if I don't already have the best hand, which is possible though not probable.
