Final Pot: $6.14

When villain bet into me on the flop I thought he might be trying to represent the ace hoping that I had something like TT-KK. I'm not sure if I raised enough on the flop either. It didn't seem like a set as I think most sets would have check/called the flop and waited for the turn.

I play in those games and with a set I would have at least bet the pot on the flop. If the villian seems loose, I bet even more.

I would be looking to build a big pot with my set hoping you had AK. The only way to build a big pot is to start by betting right out.

Im not saying your against a set, but some sets start jamming it right away.

To be honest, I don't think players at that level are going to be thinking like that. You're either up against a set or two pair.

Thanks for the replies. Villain indeed had two pair, A4o. In retrospect I played this hand poorly and think I fell in love with TPTK.
