Unfortunately 80/30 donks don't fold to 3bets. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

He is not folding to your preflop raise ever. Maybe if you made it a lot bigger he would.

meh, if you don't make a bad reraise preflop you're not in the spot.

But he's not gonna fold for $2 or $2.50 if he's calling $1.50 on this board.

3-betting light doesn't work against stations, semi-bluffing doesn't work against stations. Do you see why?

so just c/c till I hit? isnt that what I did?

how can you think that you c/c when you clearly b/b'd?

Meaning that since i hit top pair i might be good here. top pair with a flush draw = bet?

Yeah, the postflop play seems like a no-brainer. Even against a maniac the flop semibluff isn't too bad since he's 2:1 to miss the flop entirely. On the turn against this opponent there's no reason to think that set, two pair, AA, KK, Qx with a better kicker makes up much of his range, and you have a huge amount of equity so value bet all day.

Preflop I agree with consensus. Straightforward, even passive play beats maniacs.
