Could have meant $2.50. You can call for the fun of it and see what happens. It's only 0.25. I'd consider it a check. Could turn out OK;)

Then again, if he did mean $2.50, I assume you would have folded, so maybe you should just fold and wait for a better position. If he meant 0.25, he probably has more than you do. You don't have much here.
