Standard or weak as hell? No Reads.

Stacks: Hero - $27, Villian - $25

PREFLOP: Hero is SB with A /images/graemlins/club.gifT /images/graemlins/club.gif, Button calls, Hero completes, BB (villian) checks.

FLOP ($.75): 3 /images/graemlins/heart.gif4 /images/graemlins/club.gifA /images/graemlins/spade.gif
Hero bets .75, villian raises to $3, button folds, Hero folds.

I raise preflop. As played, folding looks pretty good.

Really? From the SB? Now are we raising primarily to take down the blinds, or for value? Don't you think we just end up playing a raised pot OOP with a marginal hand more often than not?

Anyway, anyone call the flop raise and reevaluate?

playing oop is much better if you take the agreesion before the flop to answer your first question and stealing blinds is always +EV as played folding flop is a lttle weak.

and AT is better than the BB's random holding ALOT of the time so I wouldnt say it was just a marginal hand in that situation.

Fold is good. I also raise PF a decent amount.

i would also likely raise this PF due to the sootedness. unsuited i play it same way you did.
