I had a bad feeling about this hand the whole way, and afterwards was kicking myself about how I played it, sure that I had done the wrong thing at nearly every opportunity. Then I read this thread (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=0&Board=microplnl&Number=8568129& page=1&fpart=all) with a similar hand, and now I'm second guessing it. Did I play it poorly, and if so, what are the key differences between this and the linked AA hand that make mine a botch job? Thanks.

The C/R on flop suggests you're in trouble, but I probably get stacked because the board is so drawy. Reraise allin on the flop.

fold to the CR or reraise AI

I prefere to fold vs unknown or good opponents

3bet the flop AI, yea its sometimes a set... but TP, jj, QQ + lots of draws are in his range.

I'm glad you asked. I left my read off because the AA thread I was comparing this to didn't have a read either, and I wanted to eliminate that variable.

In this case, the villain was somewhere around 22/8. He seemed pretty reasonable - hadn't been involved in any crazy hands, and hadn't done anything that seemed stupid or out of line. Not a nit, not a donk - could have potentially been a 2+2er. Does that change anything?

I'm really surprised by the responses to this thread and the AA one - I was almost certain I was way out of line, but it sounds like if I was wrong, it wasn't by too much.
