Boy, did I screw this one up, but where do you think I should have cut my losses and should I even have called preflop ? UTG was 40/20/3

Id fold preflop even against this opponent. The fact you are OOP has made this hand so much more difficult for you on the turn. Against this opponent, I think that this is probably just about acceptable, but Im sure there are better lines.

Since you were willing to go all-in with this, anyway, I might have gone all-in on the turn or checked the turn to see what he does. If I checked, and he went all-in, I'd probably give it up, but if not, and I were willing to take him all-in anyway, I'd do it then.

I don't mind calling with this from the BB sometimes. It can be profitable. This was a tough flop.

Personally, I would have led the flop and re-evaluated. I'd let it go to a big raise.
