I'm not sure I'm properly valuing my hands in these situations. I'm getting 4-1 on this call, but I'm not sure whether that's good enough against villian's range.

I guess the basic question is how often will he do this with less than two pair?

Comments on the rest of the hand are welcome too.

I'm not a full-ring player, but aren't the bets on flop and turn a little on the small side? On the flop I'd definitely bet around $6 (at least).

Villain could very well be trying to push you off the hand, because he smells weakness. As played I'd call his raise. It's $10 more to you, in a $42 pot, can't let it go IMO.

with that pod odds i would never fold here.

i flopbet about 5-6$, 4$ is definetly not enough!!!

He might think he senses weakness because of your smallish bets. I think this is a call.

I'd make it $5 plus on the flop. Just check behind the turn. Check/call a less then pot sized bet on the river if a non scare card hits. Am I weak for wanting to slow down when he calls our flop bet? What hands call our flop bet that would call our preflop reraise? AcQc, AA, JJ? Against an unknown I might slow down on the turn when villain has shown strength. Villain could be a complete donk or have us drawing dead.

As played I would call on the turn and not be surprised to see a set of Js (probably) or a bluff (maybe) either way you're getting huge odds so make the crying call.
