What would you say I did right or wrong? I'm honestly not sure about every single move I made in the hand. I mostly think I played it right. The check/raise is a good move right?

this is probably a really boring standard line, but for some reason I keep second guessing myself. For what its worth, this is also from my first real NL session in ~5 months so obv that contributes to my confusion

Can't say I'm a fan of the min-check/raise. It probably would have all ended up in the middle anyways but raise more.

That said I probably would have led this flop for the pot.

What would you check/raise to? It wasn't a min c/r, but pretty damn close I guess

I didn't lead the flop because I figured he would c-bet it and I wanted to check raise him, hoping for a fold but with the intention of calling an all in. Since he reraised me preflop I thought there was a reasonable chance at a c-bet.

Fold to the raise pf. This hand sucks OOP in a RR pot (sucks in RR pot w/ position too). The check raise is ok, but just push AI over his bet. OP there was a post about 2-3 months ago on this forum about semibluffing and whether you want your opponent to call or fold. Do you know what you want villain to do here if you raise the flop? FOLD. He's not folding to the minraise, so make a real raise, AI in this case. The reason semibluffing works is because your opponent will fold sometimes and when they call you are never more than a 2:1 dog (a lot of times you're 50/50 to win).

Alright thanks both of you. I'll hunt down that post, hopefully its linked in one of the stickies. I already printed up a bunch of those threads linked in there to read tomorrow, so I may already have it.

Thanks again
