i prefer a bet on the turn here.

if you hit the nuts, the pot is bigger so you will likely get paid off better.


Also, by betting the turn, it prevents the river bluff, the min raise flop + check on turn = broadcasting to your opponent that you have a FD.

by betting the turn, you can prevent a bluff and maybe see showdown with a hand that has some value, since you are in position.
