Deposited $200 and got 100% match with 15DB requirements as posted on website. Spoke with Live Chat twice before playing confirming things like bonus and comp points ie 1 point = $10 wagering.

Played standard BJ mostly $3 flat bets plus some Slots after WRs had been met. Total wagering over $6,500 although $6,000 only required.

Cashed in $640. Here's what was sent this morning:

"Hi XXXXX

Your recent withdrawal request from Betfred Casino has been declined due to bonus abuse. Your account has now been closed and your original deposit returned to your neteller account. We reserve the right to close any account for any abusive activity at our sole discretion, this may include depositing with the sole purpose of receiving bonus funds , on our own interpretation of the facts. The decision of Betfred Management is final and binding in all cases.

Out and out thievery. I am an experienced on-line player but have never come across Bet Fred before. I could have lost playing Play Tech Bj very easily as the soft-ware is very streaky. However, the streaks went my way on this occasion. But to ensure Bet Fred take all the money, and engage zero risk, they simply deny winnings and label me a "bonus abuser".

Bet Fred are crooks.

my question...why does this always happen to people with 1 post?

I post under the same handle at three other Forums. Thankfully I rarely suffer from outright theft from a Casino as I normally practice a fair bit of due diligence on the organisation at which I deposit cash.

A large part of that due diligence is reading Forums such as these where the rogues are identified. This post is a small way of saying thanks to others who have assisted me in the past.

funny as bet fred are one of the most reputable bookies in the UK and usually with very good customer support - declining to pay a bonus is also very different from stealing your winnings too - seems very shady - have you taken it up further with them?

have you taken it further

Merry Xmas everyone. I got this email back this morning:

"Hi XXXX,

Thank you for contacting Betfred Casino.

Please accept my apologies for the mix up on your account. I’m not quite sure how this has occurred but please be assured that your account has been re-opened and your funds returned.

Should you require any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact us again.

Kind Regards

The outstanding $440 has indeed been credited to my NeTeller account. Given comments made by others as to the good reputation of BetFred I am willing to accept some sort of error has occurred. Just how such an error could possibly happen I am not going to worry about on this day of all days.

I have a sneaky feeling a whisper in some one's ear did the trick.

.......well - there are now more identical complaints appearing from winners playing at this Casino.

The "bonus abuse" email appears to be no idle slip of the email send button. Be warned!!!

everyone i know who was up in BJ had problems cashing out, but most did end up getting their funds after alot of emails , but the good news is if u lose and make a smaller cashout they give it to you instantly.

i lost /images/graemlins/frown.gif( but was still up 50$ or so due to the bonus, and cashed out right after meeting the minimum bets and got it very quickly

There is most definitely a problem with this casino. As you say winning players, as a matter of course, are receiving the standard "bonus abuse" email advising rightfully earned winnings have been confiscated.

This is a pre-meditated and coldly calculated ploy to seperate a player from their money.

Bet Fred are a disgrace.

I'm strictly poker myself but certainly have had no issues as a winner there - they even let me keep in the amount I had funded by neteller and sent me a UK £ cheque for my winnings (so I didn't have to lose out by converting it through $ to cash it out thru neteller).

Cheque came thru in 2 days.

Maybe some manager on the casino side has gone off on a frolic of his own but Bet Fred's rep here in the UK really is that of a stand out bookie -a few seasons ago they even paid out early on millions of £'s in bets on Man Utd winning the premiership and then Man U went on to throw it away - and even then they still honored those betters who had put money on Man U.

Typical review is here:

A bookie's reputation in the UK is paramount - these guys have a public licence and 100's of physical shops (bet fred has over 500) - they aren't some fly by night internet set up like a lot of online casino's.

If folks are still getting issues then complain direct to customer service - if that doesn't sort it out then try emailing the MD himself - guy's name is Fred Done I think..

Betfred are a great company and wouldn't do this kind of scam.

I know the poker manager well and they are one of the most reputable online firms there is. They have 24 hour customer support live (unlike cd poker, noble etc) and ive never had a single problem with them.

good to see the issue has been resolved.
