Assuming totally random drawing of numbers between 1 and 300

60 numbers win. so 20%
equal chance of $5,$10,$15,$20,$30,$40,$50

so, 170 divided by 7 = avg prize of over $24

times 20% gives average prize of almost $5 for each ticket

This of course assumes equal chance of each number, and it might be harder to draw high numbers. Can anyone confirm this?

If it is almost $5 average win per ticket, this would be a pretty decent bonus. Maximum 20 tickets per day means almost $100 equity each day. Add this to the PSO $200 bonus (and others) and the Dec reload, and Party has really come up big this Christmas.

I was reading the terms and conditions in detail this afternoon because I had doubts about the promotion. They stated that the numbers were selected "at random" from 1-300. Clearly Party does not realize that the definition of random is that each number has equal probability of being picked.

Based on the empirical evidence in this thread and on my own experience, it is almost a certainty that the numbers were not picked at random.

This is undoubtedly misleading and unethical on Party's part. I don't understand why they pull this b.s. when a reputation for being honest and safe is paramount for an online gambling website.

There must be some greedy employees in the marketing department at Party; only thinking about short term revenue increases rather than long term profits.?!?

After the first few numbers you could see the "randomness" but i think everyone(party&players) knew this already on some level so I don't mind.
