It's bad, but your opponent had a pair higher to your set, so he's 48-1 against winning. You'll have worse beats in your poker lifetime.

If he has a kicker that's higher than your 10, I think it's slightly less. He can go runner-runner with his kicker and beat you, but if his kicker is less, he can't.

I once flopped a set of sixes on a board of X62. The board came running aces and I lost to A2 (had the turn/river come A2, I still would've won). I posted and asked here what the odds were, and I believe it was 298-1.

Some one posted a hand today where he was a 99.9% favorite on the flop with the nut flush over a lower flush. The guy caught runner runner to make a straight flush. So compared to that I give this a C.

Quad v quad is a bad beat

Plus this is a tournament. People go nuts in tournaments. Cash game beats rule.

All in all C-

Sorry

Best of luck though... keep trying, and make us proud...
Come back with one that's worse...

Ouch. Runner-runner to catch two perfect cards. Just thank your lucky star it didn't happen in a deep stack cash game.

Yesterday I had QQ vs TT, flop came TTQ. That was expensive.

I posted one a while back where I had TT vs. AA on a TT5 flop and he caught runner AA. That one sucked. Or was awesome.
