edit: just did a sessino of 2k hands @$25nl 6max. cleared 1k raked hands, so for every 2 hands you get 1 raked on avg. at $25nl.

I table select for high VPIP though, so it might be different for tight tables

1. A raked hand is any hand in which a rake (service fee) is taken out of the pot. A player is considered to have played a raked hand when cards have been dealt and the hand has generated at least $0.01 in rake for that player.

I've done this once so far and had no probs getting the 2nd reload. I don't know if you can do it more than once. I'm trying it again now for the 3rd and 4th. I wish i'd realised there were more than 2 reloads a bit earlier.

I hate it too. Absolutely hate it. You can go as low as FL 0.25/0.50 and 0.15/0.30 (and sometimes 0.1/0.2!) and still have tables where every player is 12/7/2 or similar stats. Certain times are better than other but when you have to clear 9600 hands you cannot really pick and choose when you play. I also find myself playing more tables than I can comfortably handle and my game suffers because of that. That and the relatively tight timelines (only one week for clearing) make the experience quite exhausting. Each time I have completed a bonus on Party I have this taste in my mouth like I've just eaten cat poo. Still they make me come back time and time again!

I doubt you get more raked hands on NL25. Hands/hour is a little faster, but probably not more than 50% of the hands get raked there. Tables is just too tigth. Almost every hand is folded around to BB, bet/fold preflop och sb vs BB battle where first small bet takes the pot.
The wildest 25NL FR table rigth now got an average pot of 20BB.

I've been six tabling 50NL and 100NL and agree with the poster above - anyone who complains about these games being difficult is revealing more about themselves than anything about Party.

Although the loss of the US players has impacted on the number of tables available there are still plenty of good 100NL games. Tons of retarded Canucks up here playing poker and most of the Europeans are equally as bad. It's small stakes poker folks, not rocket science.

Canadians seem to be weak tight in contrast to the Europeans who often like to "make moves" with weak / moderate hands. Obviously this a generalization but the fact is that you don't have to do anything fancy (or be especially bright - trust me) to win at these stakes.

Yeh, but the only reason you get more raked hands/hour on NL25 is because the play is a lot fast not because more % of the hands get raked.
Not even counting the fact that you have to wait like an hour before you get a seat at the NL25 FR tables...

Actually after you know you have cleared the bonus you can just open the my account - my account web page from the software and you can see the updated balance. After that if you refresh your balance in the software it shows the right number.

Also the raked hands calculator(bonus details) in the software doesn't update until you close the table you were playing at but if you go to your bonus details on the website it always shows the updated number.

So yes, it is and has always been instant

Actually it doesn't work that way for me. It takes a few hours for it to be credited. Opening my account page or closing and restarting the client after the bonus has been cleared doesn't credit the bonus to my account.

I had the impression that they counted all hands where a rake was taken. However, you may be right. Given what they have on their website (1st paragraph below) you would need a 2$ pot if you have more than 5 players at the table.

after filtering my hands for at least 0.05$ rake in PT, i get a pretty accurate number of my raked hands in the party cashier.

Raked hand
A hand that a) a player participates in (dealt cards) and b) has generated at least $0.01 in rake for that player. Generated rake is calculated by dividing the total rake collected in that hand by the number of players who were dealt cards.
Bonus requirements
Players are required to play specified numbers of raked hands in order to release bonuses and/or cash out. Tournament entry fees do not count as raked hands for the purpose of bonus release.

My PT stats agree exactly with the Party software and ANY raked hand appears to count (wouldn't shout about this too loudly though!).

Yes any raked hand counts. T&C are wrong in this matter.

I've checked this a few times comparing party's counter and PT's stats too and 5c rake is enough when playing 6-handed.

Someone just brings this up every time there is a reload. Let's hope there are few less next time.

Are any of these valid now? Where did you guys find these bonus codes? I'm relatively new and was under the impression you were only eligible for bonuses when party sends you the personalised ones and it comes up when you log in.

Why do people keep asking this? Officially the bonuses have expired. If you want to see if there is some glitch in the matrix then go ahead and make a deposit with one of the bonus codes. You're not going to get banned from the site for using an expired bonus code.

I would like to thank PartyPoker for paying for my Christmas. Awfully nice of them.
