Shermer vs. Hovind (How to debate a creationist) video

I took a break from studying for finals to watch this, and I must say I was very disappointed in Shermer. He didn't seem to know quite enough about biology to answer some things, but the most egregious thing he did, IMHO, was not addressing a lot of what Hovind said. Hovind had much faulty logic and used many false analogies, which I think Shermer should have pointed out and then also addressed the conclusions drawn. It just didn't seem that Shermer cared or took it seriously, which is a shame because if you don't really understand both topics, I think Hovind wins the debate-- emotionally and without the ability to decipher how what he says is nonsense! Too bad. It's also a shame that debates like this have to happen, since it only brings more credibility to creationism by putting it side by side with science.

Agreed, they should never be compared. But that's the creationists agenda!
