saw flop|saw showdown

UTG ($7.30)
MP ($152.30) 22/16/1.3
CO ($50)
Button ($49.90)
Hero ($82.75)
BB ($45.20)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9/images/graemlins/club.gif, 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
1 fold, MP raises to $2, CO calls $2, 1 fold, Hero calls $1.75, 1 fold.

Flop: ($6.50) 5/images/graemlins/club.gif, 4/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (3 players)
Hero bets $3.5, MP calls $3.50, CO folds.
I decided to bet 1/2pot here to charge draws. What do you think of a check-raise or pot bet? Villain is somewhat passive, so he may not bet, and pot sized bet could be scary.

Turn: ($13.50) Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 players)
Hero ...?
I think I should bet 1/2 pot here and call decent raise. Comments welcome.

you have a recurring problem with [censored] flop leads.

I c/r this flop hoping to trap CO in the middle.

Lead turn. Dont be scared of a flush. and dont lead for 1/2 pot. Lead for 3/4

If you're gonna donk the flop, bet a little bit more, probably 4.75, but since MP raised and CO is between you (rephrasing what gimmetheloot said), you can let MP bet and hopefully CO will call, then you raise and trap CO's dead money.

As played, I lead this turn for about 8-9. No point in letting a naked diamond see a free river, you have a big hand, build the pot.

That's very rarely a flush, by the way. He does that with a TON of other holdings.

just to let you know, 1/2 pot doesn't really charge draws...esp if you are going to lead again when the diamond hits.

c/r is bad. psb is good.

just make a 3/4 - full psb like a normal person

Where exactly are you 'charging draws' ?
Either Bet >= $5 or so or C/R to trap MP.

I would c/r overbet the pot if someone moves. The $3.5 is a too much tempting price if I am holding AdXd
