Villain was fairly tight. His VPIP was 18, I can't remember anything else. This is probably standard, but I'm not running good at the moment (break even), so I thought I'd run an abc hand with you guys.

Pre: Raise to 0.4
Flop: As is, fine.
Turn: BET! BET! BET! $2.75 would be fine.
River: As is, CALL! CALL! CALL!

I'd bet turn, you're usually large here (2/3 of pot is good) and throw a blocker out on river

Can you explain why you didn't bet the turn?

I'd play it the same but call on the river. When villain is tight, he is holding a decent Q far more often than a small suited connector or so.

against really tight villians I also check turn because it's less likely they have the draw and more likely they have KQ/AQ-AK-QQ-KK-AA, so we're way ahead/way behind and not needing to build a large pot with just TPTK. Against anyone with a VPIP of 20 or higher I generally bet again on the turn; 18 is close but I don't mind the turn check.

On the river I call because if I take this line I'm doing so under the assumption that he's not likely to be drawing. If he bets big when the spade hit then I take into consideration how likely he is to try a big river bluff, but can let go... as is, he's betting 1$ into 3.20$ so this is an easy call since you checked the turn.

If you're going to fold river to a bet then you need to bet turn every time.
