UB's hands do not convert well so I'm just gonna try and type this up myself. Was talking to a friend about this hand and he said to just flat the flop raise, but I wasn't sure. I'll share my thoughts at the bottom of the hand.
Effective stacks $35 (he was sitting short)
4-handed game
CO folds, Button calls, and Villain in SB completes. I check BB with 8/images/graemlins/club.gif3/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
Flop Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif8/images/graemlins/heart.gif3/images/graemlins/heart.gif (Pot = $1.50)
Villain checks, I bet $1.50, Button calls, Villain checkraises to $7.50. Hero ???
My thoughts: He completed in the small blind, so he could have something like Q8, but mostly I think he has something suited, possibly a Q/images/graemlins/heart.gifX/images/graemlins/heart.gif. I don't give him credit for a set because he would need the case 3s or case 8s and he would raise with QQ.
Given my information, and with Button still to act, should I raise or flat call? If I raise, what amount am I raising to?
