villian is 19/13/2.5 over 375 hands and has been checkraising and reraising my bets a fair amount (both preflop and post)

then this hand comes up.

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.10/$0.25
5 players
Converter (http://www.neildewhurst.com/hand-converter)

Stack sizes:
UTG: $10.45
Hero: $27.50
Button: $15.10
SB: $23.35
BB: $23.50

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is CO with A/images/graemlins/heart.gif K/images/graemlins/club.gif
UTG folds, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $1</font>, 2 folds, BB calls.

Flop: 2/images/graemlins/heart.gif 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif 5/images/graemlins/diamond.gif ($2.1, 2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks.

Turn: A/images/graemlins/club.gif ($2.1, 2 players)
BB checks, <font color="#cc0000">Hero bets $1.5</font>, <font color="#cc0000">BB raises to $5.25</font>, Hero calls.

River: A/images/graemlins/spade.gif ($12.6, 2 players)
BB checks, <font color="#cc0000">Hero ???</font>

Is this even a question on the river? I feel like i should bet, but it seems like i'm either way ahead or way behind. Maybe i'm wrong.

Any help is appreciated.

In a way this is a tough spot because villians usually play this way with sets, so he'd now have a full house. However, this can be discounted to a certain extend because he keeps c/r you. I really don't see him checking an ace on the river, so your right about saying WA/WB. If villian had bet the river I'd probably push because he could well have an ace which his willing to call with. All in all I'm not sure he has an ace, he can't call without an ace(or a full house which beats you) so I might just check this.

Bet for value, i dont think he has TT+ here, i think hes got a weaker ace, if he has a set so be it.

I'd bet 8-9 on the river.

i didn't c-bet the flop mainly because of his history of check-raising me so much. i didn't want to be forced to lay it down on the flop.

good thinking or mistake?
