Hi, Ive come off my worst session ever after what was a pretty good week, and its this session i want to discuss. I didnt really lose any big pots, but seemed to not be able to get any value from sort of 77-JJ pairs when overcards floppped.

Ive been playing a 16/12/3.8 type game with a lot of cbets making my flop aggression 6.17. Im thinking that this is getting much too high for these stakes?

I 9 table so more detailed reads on villians are hard. These two JJ hands are against the same villian. ~80 hands with 56/6.4/1.1 stats. Both these hands were towards the end of those 80 hands which makes me think he was actully watching how i was playing on the flop.

Basically this whole session i lost 5 buyins in ~1000 hands with similar hands, were i bet what looks like an ok flop with hands in my 16% VPIP range, get called or raised and i find a fold. Should i just not be betting the flop so much? I might post some more hands along this theme later if there is any interest (theres a lot of them!).
I guess theres a small theme of me folding to weak bets on the turn here when theres even a hint that im beat, im not sure if its isolated to this session. This session i called 4.5% of bets on the turn, is this normalish? (with 56% check and 25% fold, 12% bet). I think my turn play in particular could use some work, so any thoughts would be appreciated!

All of these hands look pretty standard. Hand 1 I would definitely consider raising the turn and in Hand 3, I’d probably lead out or c/r the turn if he shows he calls the flop and folds turn/river a lot. Even without reads, I think you should at least call the raise in hand 6, because you have position and easily could have the best hand.

I've had plenty of sessions like these where none of my c-bets worked and I wasn't hitting sets or 2-pair. But I think you need to continue to be aggressive, so when you finally do make a big hand, you'll get paid off. I'm interested in other comments, because I’d play all of these hands pretty much the same way you did.
