1)Preflop-Is a raise standard here for me or was calling okay?

2)Flop-Should I call or checkraise to $4 here? Should I have bet out pot right away?

1) I vary on that decision based on my reads on players and the table. Either one is fine with me.

2) I'd raise. You have TPTK and a raise might help you know where you're at a bit more than just calling. If he re-raises your raise or flat calls, that might give you info. about where you stand. I'd make a PSR of $4.50.

preflop is ok, to just call, probably reraise here tho.

As played id Raise flop to about $4-5 and play poker

1. I tend to reraise w/ AKo preflop to see if I can just take the pot down preflop (OOP). In position, I tend to call more. Not sure if that's the best way to go about it, since I'm more of a live low/no-stakes donkament player.

2. Couple of ways to go about this.
Option A: Check-raise the flop. You'll probably get someone w/ a large pair (JJ/QQ/KK) to fold. If MP2 has AT/set, you're hoping he reraises you so you can fold. If he's a tricky guy, he'll flat call and bet the turn.

Option B: Keep the pot small. Flat call and hope he has AQ/AJ and continues to make small bets (or checks the turn). You can probably bet the river if he checks the turn. The problem with this is that you might be looking at a medium sized turn bet without knowing where you stand, since he might put you on a flush draw.

Option C: Flat call the flop, blocking bet the turn. I probably pick this line. If he has a set/two-pair, he'll probably put a large raise in. If he has a large pair, he might be curious and call. If a spade hits, he might fold!

I reraise PF to $4. I then lead and pot the flop.
