OK, another quick checkup hand, I've now moved up to 50NL and variance is riding me heavily.

Hereby starts the description of my opponents. BB is a the definition of uberdonk, I 3-bet him holding QQ earlier, he called, called an irrelevant flop and spiked an ace on turn for his A3o to be good.

MP is a multitabler, he hasn't been involved in much, so I am guessing he is fairly nitty. He sits at this table and another of my tables and my read is based on that I have no read even though we have been playing for about an hour.

OK, so my question is this, how many of you are in favor of smoothcalling flop and how many pot it ?? (and why ?)

there's a bet, and a call...no choice but to raise.

if there was a bet and fold, you might consider smooth-calling, but I wouldn't smooth-call a 1/3 pot size bet...

but personally, I'm always looking to get the pot as big as possible with my sets, and don't stop betting until they fold, or all the money is in.

I pot it, learn them to donkbet into you and get some value of your hand.

This looks fine. On this board there's no hand which can profitably call your push getting 3:1.

Flop looks good.

I think with your description of BB, I'd bet more on the turn. Probably $35ish.

Looks pretty standard though.

Does everyone reraise the min bet preflop?

Solid play, not sure about the min rais pre flop, maybe just a call and once you see your 7 try and get your chips in.

That is a valid option, but not the way I play (or at least try to play)

fairly nitty multitabler min. raises.....I give him no credit if he doesn't 4-bet me. You played it perfect, that's a dangerous flop to be trapping. If the donk has a draw or pair he's calling you, so take all the EV you can get.

I like a pot sized flop raise here to get rid of the caller in between. BB is going to call us down with TP here most of the time so lets squeeze out the nit and preform the stack-a-donk-ship-that-big-monster-pot-to-me happy dance on his ass.

The turn really doesn't change anything unless BB has TJ. He checks we bet a little over half the pot, and he calls. So far, so good.

The river brings the boat for us, but maybe him too if we put him exactly on TJ. We have less than 1/3 of the pot left in our stack, and I'm putting it in 99.9% of the time against this guy. (The .1% is for when I misclick).

NH sir.

Ya, I probably call preflop, but that's just style. Otherwise perfect.

i guess you played perfectly, i'd play the same way. Your raise can mean "nothing" to them just stealing after your PFR, your set is hide here.

Maybe he got two pair or TPTK and wont lay down, i like the flop raise.

If the flop bet by villain was more pot sized, I don't think just calling would be horrible. But I always raise that [censored] up on the flop no matter what the size of the bet is.
