All figures in bb. Villain is unknown with 42 bb. Hero is button with 100bb and A /images/graemlins/heart.gif9 /images/graemlins/spade.gif.

Folded to hero. Hero raises to 4. SB folds, BB calls.

Flop: 972 monotone diamonds, 2 players, 8.5bb

SB checks, Hero bets 6, SB minraises to 12....

Hand strength: TPTK
Pot size: 24bb.
BB remaining Stack: 26bb (hero need to put in 32 to push him in)

fold. monotone board, and I don't think your top pair is good most of the time. Even if it is, your hand carries reverse implied odds.
Gimme the ace of diamonds, and I'm putting him in.

Right i will try again hopefully my laptop doesn't crash this time.

Fold for me, we must miles behind his range here in fact its stretch to find hands villan will play like this. Hands we might be beating are the 9 and a big diamond or the naked ace of diamonds both which villan rarely has.

Interesting idea. What are you planning to do on the turn? I think it makes the turn so ugly that we should either push or fold the flop.
