re raise the flop, bet the pot on 4th, and you might not have to make that decision and make a few bucks.

yea my turn bet was a bit anemic. probably shouldve bet like 20-25.
I was ok with just calling the flop, since I'm ahead of most of his hands. If he's willing to fire here, I'll let him. I would've loved it if he made the second best flush.

my money was on AA. Your hand was pretty well defined as at least a K.

without a strong read that the guy was a little crazy i muck here.

I think I can zeebo myself out of this. I think I fold this deep. Also I'd fire a little more on the turn.

fold this. it reeks of quads or a better boat. Ur going to find WAY better spots than this.

I fold river.

Villain could be playing AA this way. I doubt he has 9x here.

Also, I like a flop raise for value.

For all the flop raisers (I think I'm with you on this one) how much do you raise to and what's your plan for -

a. he calls
b. he puts in a sizable raise
c. he pushes

Curious to hear people's thoughts.

i think with AA he raises preflop or bets turn at least.

i can't picture a hand with a 9 in it that he plays like that preflop and on the flop.

I call and when he shows me the 9 i quit poker.

Given the stack sizes post in small stakes and see what they think.

This is a really interesting hand.

First things first, I think its really unlikely that he has the nine, although its certainly not impossible. Given that we can assume that both hero and villain are reasonable players (based on stacks - any reads OP?) we can certainly put the nine in his range, as I would expect 89s, T9s to call this deep stacked preflop. The implied odds are huge.

The point is, a raise on this flop is cruicial as you are so good versus his range. This hand is suffering from a lack of information because you are not putting enough pressure on him to force him to play his hand, instead of playing you.

I raise the flop big, and I would even consider felting. You are about 56/44 versus aces. I'd bet more on the turn as played, and I basically dont think anyone is insane enough to push this river for 300bb without a damn good hand, and given the confusion we are suffering due to our play on previous streets I have to fold.

Note that my fold is more due to the fact that I don't like to put "confused" money in the pot, not because I think he has the nine.

I don't think it's a very good idea to raise flop 600bb deep.

a. Check behind on the turn UI for pot control reasons
b. Call with decent pot odds/implied odds, otherwise fold
c. Insta fold

Because you are 600BB deep you have to be far more cautious when dealing with big pots. Running into the occasional monster and getting your stack is far more devastating 600 deep than 100-200 deep.

You should definitely be extremely cautious when the pot gets big but I think raising the flop is essential for two reasons:
-You have a very strong hand that can improve.
-It gives you a lot of info about villains hand
