Call all day? This could easily be J9/88/99/KJ/K9/TPTK. I think you are well ahead of his range.

That's what I thought too. I was just wondering in hindsight if this type of player does push 2-pair/TP this much, or if I should have put him on trips or one of the 2 straights (giving me worse odds for a call)?

Anyways I called and he turned over the nut straight. I'm not sure if I made a mistake or not in calling.

I'd say a little prayer and hope this was a slowplayed set or two pair. Given his range you just have to call this.
