Just wondering if I need special software to record what is happening on my screen or is there something in xp that can do this? I've found istrong's commentaries on his own sessions quite helpful and also redcashions recent video of him 2tabling 100NL on stars. I was thinking it would be a great learning tool for some of us newer players to make a video session where we just say what is going through our heads while we are playing and then have people in the forum critique our session. I've recently just started playing 25NL 6max and would love to have some of the more experience players comment on my play.

Tuff fish used camtasia studios, and you can find a 30 day trial of it online. Who are istrong and redcashion? Can someone link me please?

you can use Camstudio (http://www.camstudio.org/)

It's free and should suit your needs for recording poker videos /images/graemlins/smile.gif

And a link to camstudio/camtesia in the FAQ might be cool

Does anybody have any recommended settings for Camstudio? I don't want the file to be too large, but yet want some decent quality.

Select XviD or DivX encoding in the Video Options menu (of course, you must install these codecs). But I think you can only record full screen with these encondings...
