In a spirit of giving back, I'll give a free session review to a random person who PM's me and asks for one. NL25 or NL50 only. Gogogogogogogogo.

Gonna go to lunch, will pick one when I get back if there was any interest.

I'm gonna go through my database and send your own hands back to you, then see if you post better than you play. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Did you originally post this in microbrew then move it here?
I only say becaue I couldn't read that thread and it said you as the lst poster.

Awesome offer.
I hope you cleared your PM box :girn:
Will the session review/ any interesting hands be posted in uNL?

ajmargarine
11-30-2006, 01:53 PM
No more PM's. I decided on my way to lunch to look at posting history a little bit so uNL posting history will matter. Will choose someone shortly.

No just kidding, I do not think there is a better SSNL poster than AJ for a uNL player to review for a learning experience

Alright AJ, I will see your one session and offer 2 sessions (one to be done in the next week and the other the week after).

Same rules apply. uNL posting history matters, etc. etc., all subject to my arbitrary judgement.

GOGOGOGOGOGOOGOGOGOGOGOGO!

Munkey, why would it be selfish? I think it would be great to see a poster like you improve and get to NL$100 sooner rather than later.

Slight change in plans. Lucky Jim plays full ring. 42 has agreed to take him on as 1 of his 2.

How many hands/tables constitute a session for you guys? How do you want people to send information to you (raw hand histories, video, etc.)?

I don't think I'm playing enough to make this worth anyone's while, but it sounds very tempting.

I love winning...Early Xmas.

I'll send a random session from last week, where I'm making my normal, everyday spazz moves...not a special "I'm going to play my best and impress AJ" session.

Warts and all, I invite him to tear it apart in public if he wishes, because the great thing about this is learning the things we didn't even know to ask about in the first place.

thanks again,

jeff

How many hands are these fine folks willing to look at? If I sit down at my computer and play 8 tables for 4 hours non-stop, does that count as a session? Because that's a lot of hands to look through.

I've seen people talk about session reviews before, but I've never paid much attention. I talk about specific hands with people and post specific hands on here, but I've never had anyone look at more than a few hands at a time.

Do people just send around hand histories, or do they take videos of themselves playing, or do they send out small PT databases or what?

I've been playing on a Mac for a while, so I've been using my own scripts to evaluate my play, rather than Poker Tracker. Does Poker Tracker just have an "export session" button or something?

I play $10nl anyone willing to review that low?

ajmargarine
11-30-2006, 07:49 PM
Around 200 hands, +/- a few.

Continuous table action. Can be from two tables, or three if need be. Including all the 72o preflop folds, etc.

Raw hand histories sent via email. These can then be put into PT and watched in their reviewer.

JackA
11-30-2006, 07:54 PM
I'd love to jump on this, but sadly I play $5NL, although I'm considering taking some shots at $10NL to see how I do.

So if anyone wants to slum it up I'm game. /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Do my 02$NL sessions count? Or is it beneath contempt, let alone a "review"?

I could use the coaching if there's no cap on making the hands at "pico" limit...

If I don't remember bad it was as simple as "File" --> "Import Hand Histories". Maybe you need to change your preferences so you can see the stakes and the player. Also, change see stats to that player.
