MP is an alrightish TAG: 23/13/3.5. Button is unknown.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (5 handed) internettexasholdem.com (http://www.internettexasholdem.com)

MP ($105.25)
Button ($43.80)
Hero ($55.20)
BB ($84)
UTG ($51.20)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, J/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
UTG calls $0.50, <font color="#CC3333">MP raises to $2.5</font>, Button calls $2.50, Hero raises or calls

Let's say I decide to call...

Hero calls $2.50, BB raises to $10, MP folds, Button calls.

BB is a very aggro LAGTAG. 20/19 or so.

You have to call $7.50 in a $22.5 pot, and you have the chance to win another $45 of the BB if you get his stack when you flop a set. Calling 7.50 to win $22.5 if you spike 100% of the time and lets say you stack him for the remainder 75% of the time. 0.75*45 = $33.75

So you are calling 7.5 to potentially win an estimated 56.25.

If my math is correct you are getting 7.5-1 then. You also are a 7.5-1 dog to flop your set. If my estimation of the times you stack him and the other player doesnt put money in the pot, your call will be break-even.

I usualy raise the first time around, mixes well with my squeezes. Second time I think is a little closer, but I probably call purely for set value.
