In the uNL concept o the week and in The Well posts on SSNL one of the most important concepts in uNL is value betting. I think this is a good example....

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (4 handed) Hand History Converter Tool (http://poker-tools.flopturnriver.com/Hand-Converter.php) from FlopTurnRiver.com (http://www.flopturnriver.com) (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Hero ($54.95)
UTG ($39.45)
Button ($30.90)
SB ($37.25)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 4/images/graemlins/club.gif, 7/images/graemlins/club.gif.
1 fold, Button calls $0.50, 1 fold, Hero checks.

Flop: ($1.25) A/images/graemlins/spade.gif, Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif, A/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 players)
Hero checks, Button checks.

Turn: ($1.25) T/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 players)
Hero checks, Button checks.

River: ($1.25) K/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 players)
Hero bets $1.5, Button raises to $4, Hero raises to $10, Button calls $6.

Final Pot: $21.25

Action leads me to think villain has a Jack more than anything...agree?

yes I agree. Do you fold to a push?

definately fold to a push. But i liked the way you played this hand... i'm too weak so i probably would of only called the raise /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Folding to a push would depend on my read....against a tight passive, absolutely. Vs maniac/moron...probably a call, vs unknown...i dont know?

looks good to me. I can't see a boat/quads/royal here almost EVER.
To have that would mean, he had QJc, TT+, AT+, AND didn't raise it or bet it on TWO streets after he made a monster. Only KK&TT could play like this and thats if he was willing to limp in and check two streets with either of those hands.
QJc I could see here a lot more often than a boat. Which is kinda funny since it's the rarest hand in the game. Obv he wouldn't close of action but, you know what I mean.

I'd be more concerned about a higher flush than anything else that beats you.
