Villain is 54 / 12 / 3 over 80 ish hands. Had folded to 3 of my cbets and haden't played back yet. Call his overbet? I smelt a set

Looks to be a 55 or 66 hand that thinks you cannot fold trips. Even if he doesn't have a boat, you don't have top kicker. J9 doesn't call you preflop, so pretty much all jacks beat you, 77-1010 do not shove like this. I think you can fold pretty easily.

I donīt know if you should call or fold to the push, probably fold, but here is the really important part. What worse hands do you think he calls a raise with? What better hands fold?

Absent a read that he's stupid and does this with an overpair or that he's a crazy bluffer you pretty much seem to be hoping for a split with J/images/graemlins/diamond.gifT/images/graemlins/diamond.gif

Just call flop.
As played ez fold turn you paid for extra information now use it.
