It seems the BBC is blocking videos about gambling news to Non-UK residents with this message

"We're sorry. The content you requested is available for UK users only."

Go here

BBC (http://www.bbc.co.uk/)

search for "gambling" try to click on the vidoes on the right pane .

I don't think non-UK residents can watch videos on any topic at that site.

A lot of the video content used is licensed for broadcast in the UK only so they block the lot, even these news items where they own the IPR. The political side of it is that the TV license fee is paid by UK citizens with a TV so there would be problems if everyone just shifted to using PCs for Internet content and a row if you foreigners get for free what we pay for. On the plus side the radio is available as you can own a radio here and not pay the TV license that funds BBC radio.

Yeah I like Sky when I'm down there, they have a UK IPR paid channel with regular Spanish weather forecasts. They know loads of subscribers are getting their SIM card from a UK address so give them the forecast they need.
