Villian shows 89 for 2-pair would be standard at this limit. Villian would not even know a flush is possible because villian only knows the 2 cards in his hand.

A read on villian would be helpful but without a read, I assume they are donks until proven otherwise.

I think you have to call here because we should be good often enough to show a profit.

I agree im calling here as well. I play $2nl and so much stupid play goes on. No one is thinking about your cards here.

Would anybody just call the original bet instead of raising? Is this too weak/tight? I agree I want to see the showdown here but not sure I want to risk half my stack on someone playing Axs. You probably have to make this call as played.

They may not be the best players, but It's not like people don't know the rules at those limits.

Maybe I didn't spend enough time there, but my impression has always been that you can trap players there with anything - except for flushes.

I might be wrong, but your opponents raise is most likely a higher flush, a boat or a bluff. He also might have made a straight on the river, in which case he probably ignores the possible flush.

Still, I wouldn't commit 38% of my stack here, not if a 7 is the best I can bring to that flush, especially not on this straight-forward level. Be patient, your opponents make enough mistakes on their own.

patient? I wish people would stop advising to be patient and "wait for a better spot" It's a NL cash game any +EV spot is a good spot. This is certainly one of these. Push this all the way. They do this with trips all the time. I can't believe people would consider folding here.

Whatever the stakes this depend on the player. If he is spewing call him otherwise you may be beat. With so much checking this table looks a little serious maybe you should try some table selection, I'm sure half of the tables at these limits will be full of people throwing away their money.

Also, fold preflop.

dardo
