in this hand.. how can i make the pot bigger at the turn?

bet less on turn, give him good (ish) odds to draw. Bet around $3.5 here.

you could have checked the turn to make it look like you have only have a K and then maybe got a call on the river.

I like the way you played it though, don't want to give an opponent a free card to the flush, unless you think you can take his stack if he hits his flush and you fill up.

This is awful advice. Villain in all likelyhood had very little, but betting less is not the answer. Sure now that we know he had nothing we should have slowplayed, but this is not the way to maximize value vs villainīs entire range.

Played perfect...sometimes they have enough to call, sometimes they don't.

the object is not to ALWAYS make marginal money, it is to combine FE + big hands in situations where you bet fast and win BIG POTS and LOTS OF POTS where they dont have anything.
