PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool (http://poker-tools.flopturnriver.com/Hand-Converter.php) from FlopTurnRiver.com (http://www.flopturnriver.com) (Format: 2+2 Forums)

CO ($3.25)
Button ($25)
SB ($23.05)
BB ($29.70)
UTG ($28.30)
UTG+1 ($14.15)
MP1 ($26.20)
Hero ($24.65)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, K/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
UTG calls $0.25, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $1</font>, <font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, UTG calls $0.75.

Flop: ($2.35) J/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 5/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 4/images/graemlins/club.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">UTG bets $1.25</font>, Hero calls $1.25.

Turn: ($4.85) T/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">UTG bets $2.5</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $7.5</font>, UTG calls $5.

River: ($19.85) A/images/graemlins/club.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
UTG checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: $19.85

1)Pre-I think everything's okay here
2)Flop-I called because:A or K is prob good if it hits,if he checks on turn I'll go for a 3/4 bet, and if he bets on turn I might try something.
3)Turn-I figured he didn't have a hand or one I could take, so I raised. Bad idea?
4)River-I basically said "I ain't calling a reraise/push if I bet and get called" and that turn call by him drained me of any boldness.

Did I go wrong anywhere? Right anywhere?

Thanks for reading.

I don't like the raise on the turn. UTG has bet OOP twice, and so chances are they have something of a hand. If you are going to raise, make it a bigger raise. You're rarely going to induce a fold in villain when you're only forcing them to call $5 into a $20 pot. I'd probably fold the turn, though a call's not terrible given you'll have position on the river if you do hit your hand.

I'd probably bet the river since the villain has played the hand like he has a pair of jacks or tens, and may call a value-bet. But checking here is fine.

Reraise on the flop instead of the turn.

It will most likely get you a free card if the turn doesn't help.

Bomb it on flop if you must (and it is cheaper that way) ... turn tells me you are beat ... and river you finally hit one of your outs and you shut down, if you are semibluffing (which I guess is what you where doing), why not follow thru ??

As played you look like fairly donkish
