Stars 50NL 6-max. Villain is a huge fish. After 15 or so hands my notes on him are "minreraise PF OOP w/ J3o and minbet lead flop; calldown 3 streets w/ bottom pair no kicker", i.e. he's truly horrible.

Flop play is questionable. Against a CS I think betting is by far best but I didn't notice who the opponent was until the turn. Thoughts on the turn lead and what to do after his minraise. Conventional wisdom (see Baluga Theorem) says I should fold, I'm not that convinced.

I'm folding here, only winning from K10 or lower, and if he had that, I think theres a good chance he'd raise the flop.

this is KJ or a 3 more often than anything you beat I think.

you can probably find a better spot against this guy.

Though spot Kit, I am guessing you have no observation about whether he is the aggro type of fish or the passive.

If he is a passive calling station kinda fish, then you might be in dire straight as this smells like a trey, but on the other hand, if he truly is awful, then he might be thinking that his K8s or QQ is teh nutz here ???

Dunno ... what did your gut say during the hand ?

i cant fold a minraise here. its 7 to call 31. I go into check/call mode- if he is a true fish, he wont get the idea of pot-sized raises, and if he raises on the river it will likely be some mini-raise

I saw this exact play on me yesterday by a total fish. I had KQ, he flipped Q6. He minre-raised the turn J, i called, checked river, he through out a minbet.

I expect a worse King quite often

Why aren't you betting the flop?

If fishy is as crazy as you describe and fairly aggro I call & block the river.

If he's very aggro, I call and check/call any reasonable bet on river.

If he's rather passive, I fold and get his chips later.

I called and check/called his $10 river bet. He had 87o and MHIG.

In retrospect maybe check/call turn, check/call river would be a better line.

baluga theorem basically says that against a turn reraise, your 1 pair is no good
