The table was tight (like nobody would even bet 0.04$ without at least an Ace), but the BB plays frankly (with few bluffs tho, but not that much either). Therefore, the Hero is lost and somewhat clueless here.

I have several questions here :

1) IF YOU ARE THE HERO : What would you guys do as a response to his AI? Is it an easy call?
2) IF YOU ARE THE BB : Did the BB play correctly with this all-in, or is there a better way?

This is an easy call on the turn, IF YOU DIDN'T FOLD PREFLOP.

The only thing I do different here is FOLD PREFLOP. But I may be going out on a limb here. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Why mini raise preflop?

If you're playing a LAG game and playing hands from position, start with a real raise.

Then the flop comes out and you overbet the hell out of the pot. Keep the raises consistant.

On the turn, i'm at the felt every time.

I think stealing with Q8 on a tight table from the CO is fine.

Me too. Only problem I have is the size of the preflop raise. Although I think our flop is a little on the high end. /images/graemlins/grin.gif As played, let's play for stacks on the turn.

Folding equity doesn't exist in 2NL.

In that case, I was the BB and I won the pot. I had 5c6c, I was ok with his mini-raise and got a straight on flop. I wanted to see what kind of hand he had before. His 0.36$ was a relatively big bet, probably a TPTK or a secret overpair. On the turn, I was expecting him to have the 3 of a kind 8. If he is lucky on the river, he could have a full house later, I couldn't let him see the river for free. (Or maybe he had already the full house?). Risky but worth of try, I did maximum bet. He called and lost. Perfect scenario.

But I was in the same situation than the Hero a lot of times. Sometimes I had AA, sometimes I had 2 pairs, and sometimes I had 3 of a kind. A guy raised on me like crazy. I just called, like most of you guys will do, because I was too much focused on my hand rather than his.
