Villain is 35/6/2.5 - not great but hasnt been out of line and is breaking even over the 130ish hands I have on him.

Hero?

I lead flop here since I am probably best now/to protect against draws. But the board is pretty scary and I don't want to build a huge pot.

Turn is a brick as far as I am concerned - I feel I have a ton of different ways to play it here. What do I do?

I would lead out again probably around 4 you dont want to let the possible flush draw/straight draw see a free card here make them pay to see another card. If all of a sudden he comes alive with a big reraise you can probably let this go.

I think you have to bet there.

I would call a reraise there too.

How can you not pot it here?

The pot control concept is getting people into trouble with hands like this. You are heads up and have 2 pair on the turn with flush/straight draws galore. Bet the pot.

I agree. I make it like 3/4 of the pot, though. This lets flush and straight draws call sometimes. Then check call his pot bet on the river every time. Even if he is 50/50 straight/flush draw you make plenty of money when he bluffs. And that doesn't even count the crappy top pairs.

Pot control is not so important here because you are likely to make so much money on his draws.

Plus the pot isn't gonna be that big even if you do pot it and get called. I think the pot needs to be bigger than this for you to start worrying about pot control with 2 pair.
