Bet about $6. Flop may look just as scary to villain and AA, KK and AK are a huge part of your range for a preflop re-raise.

Edit: Noticed villains stack - I think you should just pot it and commit him.

I would bet about $6.50 or so. I cant give up on this pot yet.

Villain has about a PSB left. So do I check to induce a push from worse hands or do I put him in and hope he calls with a worse hand?

He posted CO shortstacked and raised, prolly pretty LAG, It'll go all in anyhow but I like betting about 6.50...he'll raise the last 2 bucks.

Na, I don't like checking or open shoving. If we shove he very well might fold a hand we beat. If we check, he may check behind with A high. I make a smallish bet to induce a push.

Shove, there are lots of worse hands he'll calls with.

I think if you bet $6 or higher he can fold the hands that you beat and push when he has you beat. He knows you aren't folding to a reraise with his stack.

If you bet smaller, maybe half pot, he will still take your money if he pushes with a better hand, but you may get him to see one more card or try to bluff you with a worse hand.

I don't see what he calls with if we push or what he pushes with (after our $6 bet) that we beat. JJ, TT, maybe a flush draw?

I think this is a definite check. Thats the only way we get enough weaker hands to put money in and it opens up options which we don't otherwise have. If he checks, you only really fear a A only and you can easily play the hand. Also if he half pots it with a K, he may be willing to fold to a reraise, putting us on AK AA only.
