not quite sure why i raised this utg+1. this is normally a fold for me 99% of the time. CO i would raise it though

maybe coz the sb had no money and was sitting out it was effectively 5 handed and i decided to raise it.

thought i had to bet the turn the board is double suited now. and figured i could get value from alot of aces.

thought the only thing i could beat was a bluff or a two pair with the jack like j8/j7?

This is teh almighty turn check-raise which means you should already be concentrating your thoughts on the next hand. Your hand has suddenly become marginal, and you have to pay a lot to see if you're good. In addition, he leaves some money behind which is a clear sign of strength. A push would be a more bluffy move from him (never mind that he's putting you all-in in both cases), but to a turn C/R I'd fold anything less than a set here.
