Pot turn, I would sometimes c/c river and sometimes block it for 5-6, depending on the mood.

I fold this preflop.

On the turn I would bet the pot a 6X's and 2Pair arent going anywhere yet.

River I would bet about half the pot and if he pushes let go

And fold or raise PF. Limping UTG is lame.

If you're going to open-fold JTs in MP you should probably quit playing NLHE.

All depends on table conditions. If I have been quiet lately I raise. Been raising often I will fold it. But, this does bring up an interesting point. Should we always be raising JTs UTG? One of the best drawing hands and since we are taking the lead we can control the pot size. Also, initially will be deceptive since many will not put that in our range UTG.

You can't control the pot size OOP. For that reason (among others) draws are difficult to play OOP.

I might be raising this UTG if SB/BB is a huge fish and I'm likely to fold out the players acting behind me. And this doesn't happen very often.

i raise JTs prolly 75% here. it is defenatly +EV to play assuming there are 2 or 3 fish at the table (and if not switch tables)

maybe too tight, as i try to switch from fr at the moment, but i fold this pf

Fold or raise from early position.

My line: PF raise to $1, Bet the pot on the flop, push the turn, cry like a baby when he rivers flush or boat, reload to $25, stack donk on later hand.

I raise it up about every single time. JTs is a nice hand with potential, plus its more fun to play then to fold. I'd bet around 4 on the river, folding to a raise.

I'm probably one of the tighter posters here and I'm always raising JTs utg in 6max.

Raise JTs 100% UTG.

I won't fold JTs UTG either, and raise it when I enter. You just need to let go of top pair often on the flop/turn. I'd bet slightly more on turn, and 3/4 to a pot on the river, and fold to a big raise.

UTG 6-handed = MP. When you play shorthanded you should think about starting hands as if you were playing at a full table and everyone has folded to you in your position relative to the button.

I realize this is UTG at a 6-max table, but I think some folks are confusing UTG at a 6-max table with EP. There is no EP at a 6-max table. UTG = MP.
