Probably check behind flop against a shortstack. Call a turn bet sometimes, depending on bet size.

Honestly, in this situation, I usually just overbet and put him all in on the flop. Seriously, who gives a [censored].

I'd probably push the flop. Makes it look like you have a monster and maybe he will lay down a pair.
