Is folding the second nuts standard here? My reasoning:
- River looks like a clear valuebet, villain might pull this off with an A, K, Q, J?, on a 4 flush board. Q and J are already on the board, I have the K, leaves the As.
- Villain raised preflop, chances are he has an ace in the pocket
- It could be air, but I don't think many villains can pull this off.

How do you like the river fold? Does your opinion change when given this villain is 40/17/4 over a decent sample size (which I didnt know when played)? Should I reraise turn?

Given his stats I might have called. $10 to win $24. He could have raised with any pocket pair or suited connector.

He could be bluffing - rare at 25NL FR but seen more at 6max.

If it was a tighter opponent a fold may be correct.

Bump, I'd really like some more thoughts on this...

This should've been an immediate call.
Any T/images/graemlins/spade.gif should value bet this, too.

The Ace is quite likely, but still, getting 2.4 for 1 this is an easy call.
If he has the ace, be grateful that he made it so cheap to see the showdown.

PF either reraise to $3 or fold.

As played, I raise it to $4 on the flop. I think calling the turn is fine. W/O reads I call the river.

? I don't get this. Why are we reraising QKo?

I don't play KQo for a raise either, unless somebody called before me. I see that its not the point of discussion, but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

River is a call getting 2.4-1. You are defo good here 30% of the time.

your decision is made on the turn.

if u're going to call the turn bet then u must call this river bet.
if u're not going to call a river bet this big then fold the turn.

and reraise the flop more if you're going to raise. raise pot to $5. your weak raise allows the opponent to draw profitably.

also, fold KQo preflop if you're playing tight or reraise if you're playing laggy. don't cold call.

as u can see, cold calling KQo preflop has gotten u into a sticky situation.

For 3BB I'll call with all kinds of crap at 25NL. KQo can play well in a crowded pot you just have to know when to bail. I'd call the river and take my lumps if I had to.
