Villain is 46/11/2. The preflop coldcall is probably pretty donkish, I'm just wondering about the rest of the hand.

why would you check the flop? Your kicker isn't too good that you want people trying to get free cards. Rest of the hand is okay I guess. I would have hammered the flop for a buck and get an idea of where you stood from there. I'm not a huge fan of slowplaying trips.

There are only 2 free cards that I need to worry about. I'm just checking to the preflop aggressor to see what he's going to do, and probably gonna check/raise him.

na, this is fine. Betting the flop gives you the same result, and bloats the pot when you have kicker problems. Make a crying call on the river and hope he has like A7.
