im not a NL limit player. i remember reading a strategy for NL though about 2 years ago, which according to the poster beat most micro stakes NL
1 go all in with AA and KK preflop
2 limp with pp and Axs pre, if you hit, go all in
3 profit
are todays micro NL playes good enough not to be beaten by such a strategy?

i've only been playing microNL for about 8k hands and i've come accross some pretty weak-tight players.

from my experience (or lack of) this wouldn't work.

I've only played a couple hundred hands at 1/2 cents and my opinion is that nud peddling would not work.

That is so gross.

I'm sure it probably makes a small profit. Not as much as actually playing poker.

Wait...I thought this WAS playing poker! You mean there's more to this game than what the original poster said??

Is this strategy profitable at uNL? Probably, if your table selection is good.

Is it profit-maximizing? Uhm, no.

If you want to win $2 an hour 20-tabling, go for it. Most people here are actually hoping to learn how to play poker, but that's not to say that you have to.

im going to learn NL some day. i do play 10-20 to 20-40 fixed. i was mostly curious about if the NL fish was still bad enough to fall for this strategy.
