That turn call isn't a beauty I suppose. I was lost in this hand, what should my line be?

This looks like an NL50 table, in which case your pfr is fine.

You're trying to balance charging for the draw with pot control. On the flop it's a clear lead. The fact that he flat called flop points toward flush or draw, but still much more likely a lone /images/graemlins/club.gif drawing, so bet is fine.

But when he checkraises, you're toast. It's a minraise and you're getting 4:1 direct to call, but you have few outs if behind, and you are. There's no point in calling to see a river if there's no card that can make you good against a big part of his range. So -- vs. an unknown or someone who hasn't gotten out of line -- dump it to the turn raise.

A thing to consider:
When he checkraises the turn, he will almost always bet the river.
This is what Sklansky & Miller calls 'the hammer of future bets'.
It can be tempting to look at the mincheckraise in isolation,
'it is only 10$ more, he is giving me great odds'.
But odds for what?
Villain is telling you he can beat one pair, and withouth a read you are forced to belive him.
You are drawing to four outs at best (the A/images/graemlins/club.gif is dirty),
and often you are drawing dead.

Folding turn is fine without a better read.

Turn, i'd bet half the pot. so about 7 or 8. Chances are he's drawing, but if he's got a made hand, you aren't pushing him off it.

I personally would drop to the cr on the turn. Without reads, it's tougher to say, but even if you're getting semibluffed, he's still got a crapload of outs if he has a club, and pair. I'd say there's probably a 25% chance you're ahead and even if you are, it's thin with the potenial draws out there.

One thing I learned real quick going from limit to nl is to stop going broke with tptk and stop overvaluing overpairs.

OP, check flop, or check turn...Fold river.
protecting your stack here is worth much more than protecting your hand.

Dump to the turn raise. c/c then c/min-raise often means 2-pr or better. This is a very common donkey line.
