At the time I felt he might just have a 9 or some overcards, when i check the turn when the 8 came, i didn't feel he would have the 8 with such a big bet(but now i think he might have considering how draw heavy the board is...-the reason i posted). And if he really did have an 8, the river card scares him so he might just call my blocker bet, instead of checking and him thinking he should bet his 8 for value with a 3/4pot sized bet instead that I have a tough decision to call. Also if he does have a 9 only i can maybe extract some value out of the jacks. but after thinking about it some more 2pair and stuff out there should i have just c/f the turn? If you were going to play the hand, how would you have kept the pot as small as possible out of position, what you think of my way of trying to keep pot small (do you think because might be floating me on the flop with air i shouldn't check the turn because im just asking to get bluffed which will bloat the pot more? and should put a 1/2pot bet on the turn and c/c a blank river?)
