Villain is loose/weak. Do you like checking behind on the turn? River is standard IMO, I don't beat anything except a stupidly played Kx but I have to call because it's a tiny bet.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool (http://poker-tools.flopturnriver.com/Hand-Converter.php) from FlopTurnRiver.com (http://www.flopturnriver.com) (Format: 2+2 Forums)

BB ($34.65)
UTG ($14.95)
Hero ($25.70)
CO ($21.55)
Button ($22.25)

Preflop: Hero is MP with A/images/graemlins/club.gif, A/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
1 fold, Hero raises to $1, 3 folds, BB calls $0.75.

Flop: ($2.10) K/images/graemlins/club.gif, 6/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1.5, BB calls $1.50.

I would bet the turn about 3. It think you still called by plenty of worse hands.

River is fine.

Pot flop. I'd bet 4 on turn.

Monsters Under the Bed Syndrome? Bet turn. You're ahead here more often then not.

Pot flop

I wish people would stop telling me to "pot the flop"

I changed my standard c-bet amount from full pot to 3/4 and it works just fine. No reason to change it up just because I have Aces.

I sometimes bet more than 3/4 if it's multiway and a very wet flop, to discourage overcalls. But this is HU, and I find I get a little bit more action from weak pairs if I don't full-pot it. I also keep the pot more managable, size wise.

No, it's called "pot control" (you can add "syndrome", if you wish). It's a valid strategy, but debatable in many cases, and this might be one of them.

I agree with most of what you said, and pot control IS a very important NL concept, however, overpairs are the nuts at 25NL. So many times I've fired three bullets with an overpair thinking "how the hell can I still be good here?" only to have villain showdown TPNK or some other trash.

Oh, and a 3/4ths cbet is fine.
